Theology for a Digital Age: Blogging
The ADSA invites you to a Professional Development seminar, "Theology for a Digital Age: Blogging"
Friday, November 4, 2011 from 1pm to 3pm in the TST Building (Boardroom 1). All students (AD and BD), faculty, and staff are most welcome! There will be a small snack and a chance to win a copy of "Blogging for Dummies."
This panel discussion and Q&A session brings together four of TST's brightest blogging stars for a first-of-its kind conversation about the role of blogs in academic discourse and public theology. They'll share a bit about why they blog, the hits and misses of their blogging career, a few pointers for getting you started or improving the quality of a blog you've already got, and how ALL of this relates to their vocations as professional theologians!
The panelists are:
Bill Kervin - Faculty at Emmanuel College and creator of billsworshipblog.blogspot.com
James Pedlar - Doctoral student at Wycliffe College and creator of jamespedlar.wordpress.com
Brett Salkeld - Doctoral student at Regis College and contributor to vox-nova.com
Natalie Wigg-Stevenson - Faculty at Emmanuel College and co-founder of themothchase.com
So come for a Timbit or two, a few laughs, and more than a few awesome insights into the changing landscape of public theology in our digital age! This is one PD seminar you won't want to miss.
We look forward to seeing you there. All are most welcome.
